Illinois College Lady Blues take second at SLIAC Women's Golf Championship

The Illinois College Lady Blues golf team secured a second-place finish at the SLIAC Women's Golf Championship held in Springfield, Illinois. The team concluded the tournament with a total score of 971 after three rounds.

The Lady Blues' performance earned them All-Conference honors. Kate Burr and Sandie Norville were named to the First Team All-Conference, while Alyvia Burr, Amy Fowler, and Olivia Quigley received Second Team All-Conference recognition.

Leading the team was Kate Burr, who finished fourth overall with a score of 233. Sandie Norville tied for seventh place with a score of 240. Other notable performances included Olivia Quigley tying for 10th with a score of 242, Amy Fowler placing 12th with a score of 247, and Alyvia Burr tying for 16th with a score of 251.

This tournament concludes the Fall season for the Illinois College women's golf team. They are set to resume competition in Spring 2023.
