The Illinois College women's golf team is participating in the SLIAC Women's Golf Championship this weekend in Springfield, Illinois. After the first day of competition, the Lady Blues are positioned in second place with a team score of 334.
Grinnell College leads the tournament with a score of 302 after the initial day. Kate Burr from the Lady Blues is tied for sixth place individually, completing her first round with a score of 78. Sandie Norville and Alyvia Burr follow closely, both tied for 12th place with scores of 83.
The championship will proceed tomorrow at 10:00 AM.
