The Illinois College (IC) men's and women's golf teams participated in the Midwest Region Fall Classic at Brightondale Golf Links in Kansasville, Wisconsin. The event spanned two days, with the Lady Blues securing 18th place, while the men's team tied for 10th place alongside two other teams.
Kate Burr was a standout performer for the women's team, shooting rounds of 82 and 79 to achieve a total score of 161. She finished in a tie for 28th place overall. Her teammates Katie Mae Milhiser and Amy Fowler scored 169 and 175 respectively, contributing to the team's total score of 683.
On the men's side, Jarrett James led IC by scoring rounds of 69 and 79, resulting in a total score of 148. This placed him in a four-way tie for 26th place overall. Kacee Fulkerson and Dane Huber were among the top three finishers for the men's team with scores of 152 and 154 respectively. The men's team concluded with an overall score of 606.
Illinois College is set to host a junior varsity match on Monday, September 25 at Jacksonville Country Club starting at 10:00 AM.
