The men's and women's golf teams participated in the Knox College Invite over the weekend in Galesburg, Illinois. The Lady Blues secured a first-place finish among five competing teams. The men's junior varsity team placed fifth out of eight teams.

Kate Burr led the women's team with a score of 169 over two rounds, tying for second place overall. Alyvia Burr finished fourth with a score of 171, while Amy Fowler secured fifth place with a score of 173.

On the men's side, Andrew McKillip was the top performer for the JV squad, finishing 13th overall with a total score of 154 after two rounds. Dane Huber tied for 17th place with a score of 159, and Peter Hauser tied for 20th with a score of 160.

The men's team is scheduled to compete next at the Fall Regional hosted by the University of Illinois Springfield on Monday and Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Lady Blues will participate in the SLIAC Women's Golf Championship from Saturday through Monday.
