The Illinois College men's and women's cross country teams recently participated in the Midwest Conference Championship at Monmouth College. The men's team secured a fourth-place finish, while the women's team finished seventh.
Two members of the Illinois College Blueboys earned All-Conference honors during the meet. Devin Boggs achieved a 10th place finish with a time of 26:33.99, marking the fastest 8K race time in Illinois College history. Elgin Scherff also performed well, finishing in 17th place with a time of 27:03.09.
For the Lady Blues, Ashley Orrick led her team by finishing 33rd overall with a time of 27:37.16. Clare Peters followed closely behind, securing a 35th-place finish with a time of 28:13.02.
The teams are scheduled to compete next at the NCAA Regional on Saturday, November 12.
