The men's and women's cross country teams from Illinois College participated in the NCAA Regional Meet held at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. The men's team secured 27th place out of 30 teams, while the women's team had three individuals representing them in the competition.
For the men's team, Devin Boggs led with a time of 27:25.6 in the 8K race, finishing in 112th place. He was followed by teammates Collin White with a time of 28:46.5 and Steven Melin who finished with a time of 29:20.2.
In the women's competition, Zoey Lewis led the Lady Blues with a time of 24:50.2, earning her a 115th place finish. She was followed by Elizabeth Ruvalcaba with a time of 28:21.5 and Ashley Drake who completed her run in 29:35.0.
This event concludes the season for both the men's and women's cross country teams for Illinois College.
