Illinois College's Adam Hernandez has been recognized as the Midwest Conference Track Performer of the Week. The announcement was made by the league today.
Hernandez, a freshman from Pawnee, Illinois, achieved personal bests in two events at Millikin's Big Blue Alumni Invite on Friday. He recorded times of 15.60 seconds in the 110 meter hurdles and 57.72 seconds in the 400 meter hurdles. These times currently place him at the top of the Midwest Conference standings.
The college is set to host its annual True Blue Invitational this Saturday at the Ware Family Track. Field events will commence at 11 a.m., followed by running events starting at noon.
