The Illinois College 4x200-meter relay team secured a seventh-place finish at the Drake Relays held at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. The event concluded on Saturday after weather disruptions.
The team, consisting of Jaden Saunders, Carter Wasson, Miles Weddington, and Dylan Doss, initially won its heat with a time of 1:28.24 on Friday. However, severe weather conditions in the Des Moines area led to the postponement of other heats until Saturday morning.
In another event today, the Shuttle Hurdle Relay team comprising Austin Robinson, Nathan Barth, Jackson Lee, and Adam Hernandez achieved third place in their heat with a time of 1:06.36.
The Blueboys are set to compete again next Saturday at the Fighting Scot Invitational in Monmouth.
