Due to upcoming projects, it's necessary to get this position filled as soon as possible.

1. Approval to hire a replacement Recording/Data Entry/Verifier at an annual salary of $40,000 effective 10/8/24; the previous employee left the position on 7/30/24 at an annual salary of $40,000 and left the payroll on 8/16/24.
County Clerk. Don Gray
1. Approval to hire an Assistant Director of Vital Records at an annual salary range of $55,000-$60,000 effective 10/15/24. This is a new position.
Child Advocacy. Denise Johnson
1. Approval to hire a replacement CASA Program Director at an annual salary of $64,707.05 effective 11/1/24; the previous employee left the position on 9/26/24 at an annual salary of $64,707.05 and will leave the payroll system on 10/11/24. Permission to waive the 30 day lag period due to position being grant funded.
2. Approval to promote and adjust salary for Sharine BelFellah effective 9/26/24 to Program Director. Her salary will change from $54,578.16 to $58,078.16. This is temporary assignment pay.
County Administration. Brian McFadden
1. Resolution to amend Section 2.04.330 of the Sangamon County Code to add "unexpected childcare obligations" which allows a Board member to participate remotely in a meeting if the other requirements to remote participation are satisfied.
States Attorney, John Milhiser
1. Resolution approving a contract between Sangamon County and the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts (AOIC) concerning the AOIC providing funding for the county to assist criminal defendants identified by the Public Defender's Office with accessing available resources.
