Daniel Happach earns Midwest Conference defensive honors after standout performance

Illinois College's Daniel Happach has been recognized as the Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week, according to an announcement made by the league.

Happach, a freshman goalkeeper hailing from Morton, Illinois, played a pivotal role in securing a 1-0 victory for the Blueboys against Knox. In his only appearance this week, he achieved a shutout and recorded six saves.

The Illinois College team currently holds a 9-3-1 overall record and leads the conference with a 3-0 standing. The Blueboys are set to face Monmouth in an upcoming conference match scheduled for tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
