The team, consisting of Glenn Conway, Dwight Duijneveld, and Josh Hallanger, showcased strong defensive play alongside an impressive offensive performance in the third game. This win places their season record at 2-2.
In the first game, both teams struggled to score until Conway netted the only goal with assistance from Hallanger, leading to a 1-0 victory for Illinois College. The second match mirrored the defensive intensity of the first, culminating in overtime where Hallanger scored with an aerial play after 6 minutes and 39 seconds of play. Conway contributed significantly on defense with five saves.
The third game saw Illinois College adopt an aggressive offensive strategy, scoring five goals while conceding just one. Both Hallanger and Conway scored twice during this period as Duijneveld led in assists with two.
