The Illinois College Esports team participated in the Unified Esports Festival at St. Louis University over the weekend. The team faced challenges from the start, losing their first match in the winner's bracket, which placed them into the consolation bracket for the remainder of the day.

Their initial game was against Maryville University's secondary League of Legends team. Maryville is recognized as one of the top teams in the Midwest conference, presenting a formidable challenge for Illinois College.

In their second game, Illinois College secured a decisive victory against Campbellsville University Esports. Notable performances included Kevin "SageWabe" Tran playing Caitlyn with a KDA of 14.0 and Isaiah "Frxg" Johnson on Wukong.

The third game saw Illinois College competing against Mizzou Esports in a volatile best-of-one consolation bracket. Unfortunately, they were defeated in a 22-minute match.

Looking ahead, Illinois College Esports is preparing for their next match against Ohio State Esports scheduled for Monday, October 3rd at 7:00 PM.
