The Illinois College cheer team recently took part in the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Nationals Qualifying Camp at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. The team secured both a bronze bid and a place at the NCA Nationals for the second consecutive year.
The camp attracted schools from various locations, including Grambling State, Maryville, SIU-Edwardsville, Saint Louis, and Missouri. Each participating team was required to develop and perform a 45-second crowd-leading cheer.
The upcoming 2020 NCA Nationals are scheduled to take place in Daytona Beach, Florida, from April 8-12. This year, the dance team will accompany the cheer team at the event and compete together in the game day division.
