Illinois College Esports splits matches in final MEC Valorant schedule

The Illinois College Esports team concluded their MEC Valorant schedule with mixed results on Friday. The team secured a victory against Glenville State but suffered a defeat at the hands of Pratt Community College. The matches ended the MEC Valorant schedule for Illinois College with a 6-2 record, as they prepare to resume MVEC Valorant play in January.

In the match against Glenville State, Illinois College won both games, finishing Game 1 with a score of 13-4 and Game 2 with a score of 13-7. Notable performances included Dwight Duijneveld's impressive statistics, contributing significantly to the team's success.

However, the subsequent match against Pratt Community College saw Illinois College lose both games. Game 1 ended at 13-2 and Game 2 at 13-1 in favor of Pratt CC. Despite efforts from players like Dwight Duijneveld and others, Illinois College was unable to secure another win.

Illinois College is set to return to action in MVEC Valorant play on January 16th against Gustavus Adolphis College.
