Zack Jadzak has been appointed as the assistant men's basketball coach at Illinois College, announced by Blueboys' head coach Steve Schweer. Schweer expressed enthusiasm about Jadzak joining the team, stating, "We are very excited to add Zack to our coaching staff. It is always our goal to surround our program with the best people we can. To be able to add a veteran coach who has been a part of some very successful programs and also has significant recruiting connections throughout our region is a huge win for us."

Jadzak shared his excitement about returning to his home state and joining the Blueboys, saying, "I could not be more excited to join the Blueboys and return to my home state. I want to thank Athletic Director Meghan Roman and Coach Schweer for this opportunity. Coach Schweer has built a great program at IC, and I am excited to add value in any way I can."

Before joining Illinois College, Jadzak was part of the coaching staff at Buena Vista since the 2019-20 season. His previous roles include serving as a graduate assistant at North Central College, where he contributed to consecutive NCAA Division III National Tournament appearances with a 42-15 record during his tenure.

His educational background includes playing collegiately at Saint Ambrose from 2011-15, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Education. He holds a master's degree in Leadership Studies from North Central.

The Blueboys recently concluded a successful season with a 24-5 record, securing their second consecutive Midwest Conference title and making another NCAA Tournament appearance.
