Illinois College's Connor Hennemann has been recognized as the Midwest Conference Baseball Position Performer of the Week, according to an announcement made by the league. The junior infielder from Pawnee, Illinois, demonstrated exceptional performance during the final four games of a recent Florida swing. Hennemann achieved a batting average of .588, going 10-for-17 with one home run and six runs batted in. Additionally, he scored seven runs and successfully stole two bases.
The Illinois College Blueboys have started their season with an 8-2 record. They are scheduled to play a doubleheader against Westminster College on Wednesday at Joe Brooks Field, beginning at noon.
