The Illinois College baseball team secured two victories in a non-conference double-header against Westminster College of Missouri on Wednesday. The games took place at Joe Brooks Field in Jacksonville, Illinois.

In the first game, Illinois College triumphed with a 14-9 win. The Blueboys hit five home runs, which were crucial to their victory. Andrew Wieneke started on the mound for Illinois College and pitched five innings. He was supported by strong offensive performances from his teammates, including Ryne Mapes and Logan Schweigert, who each contributed three hits. Nolan Decker drove in four runs during the game.

Illinois College's second game saw Jon Tate achieve his first career multi-home run performance, leading to a 6-2 victory over Westminster. Charlie Lardi started as pitcher for the Blueboys and managed to navigate through early challenges without allowing any runs in the first inning. Louie Bartletti also made significant contributions with a two-run homer that gave Illinois College an early lead.

"The Blueboys will return to Joe Brooks Field on March 16 hosting Concordia University of Wisconsin for a double-header starting at 12:00 PM (noon)."

The victories extended Illinois College's winning streak to six games, bringing their overall record to 10-2 this season.
