The Illinois College women's swimming and diving team concluded the pre-Thanksgiving segment of their season at the Beloit College Midseason Invite, held at the Robert G. Nicholls Natatorium in Beloit, Wisconsin.
Jena Sellers emerged as a leading performer for the Lady Blues. She secured second place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:05.95 and achieved sixth place in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing in 1:00.94.
Abby Stevens claimed fourth place in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:44.37, while Emma Dunsworth finished seventh with a time of 1:10.59.
Julie Edwards represented IC by finishing sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:41.66 and ninth in the 200-yard individual medley (IM) with a time of 2:32.33.
Looking ahead, the Lady Blues will return to competition on December 7th when they host Beloit at Coultas Natatorium. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
