Dylan Doss and Melvin Hodge delivered notable performances at the Titan First Chance Meet held at the Shirk Center Indoor Track on Illinois Wesleyan's campus.
Doss, an All-American in the outdoor season, achieved a school record in both the 60 meters with a time of 6.87 seconds and the 200 meters with a time of 21.82 seconds. He also tied the school's long jump record with a leap of 7.15 meters, winning all three events.
Melvin Hodge excelled in the weight throw, achieving a personal best of 77.06 meters, which is the second-best in school history. His shot put effort reached a personal best of 14.25 meters, earning him second place. Saul Hernandez finished third in the shot put with his personal best of 14.09 meters.
Devin Boggs secured second place in the 3,000 meters, clocking in at 9:38.66, while Jacob Kollman claimed third in the triple jump with a personal best mark of 13.73 meters.
In another highlight, Adam Hernandez recorded a personal best time of 8.63 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles.
The Blueboys will take a break during the holiday season and are scheduled to return to competition on January 25th when they host the Snowbird Open.
