The Illinois College Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team achieved a decisive 3-0 victory against Ashland University in their recent crew battle. This win brings Illinois College's record to 2-3 for the season.
In Game 1, Daniel Scott managed to take one stock from VAEN (Falco) before being eliminated. Theo Biela then entered the match, removing two stocks from VAEN and one from Marzfrosty (Donkey Kong). Noah Horsman continued by taking another stock from Marzfrosty before Julian Luaders took control of the game. Julian concluded the match by finishing off Marzfrosty and sweeping through eLevin (Samus), ThatOneGuy (Sonic), and nearly all of kiri (Aegis), achieving nine total KOs. Jake Petrovich completed the battle by securing the final stock from kiri, ensuring Illinois College's victory.
Illinois College will face Cornell College next on Wednesday, March 12th at 9:00 pm.
