Trailing for most of the game, the Blueboys secured a 3-2 win against Albion College with a decisive play in the bottom of the ninth inning. This victory marked day two of their Florida trip.

The Illinois College (IC) team improved their season record to 3-3, while Albion's fell to 1-3.

Albion initially led with Stephens hitting a solo home run in the second inning and scoring another run in the third. However, they were unable to add more runs for the rest of the game.

The Blueboys responded in the fifth inning when Jon Tate scored via Logan Fleener's sacrifice fly. IC leveled the score in the seventh as Adam Passmore grounded out, allowing Ryne Mapes to score. In a pivotal moment during the ninth inning, Ketch Mills hit a leadoff double as a pinch hitter. Fleener advanced him with a sacrifice bunt, and Passmore clinched the win with another sacrifice fly to center field.

Dawson Vernier pitched seven innings for IC, striking out eight batters and conceding just two runs. Andrew Wieneke took over in the eighth and delivered two flawless innings, securing his second win this season.

Despite going 0-4 at bat, Passmore drove in two crucial RBIs. Nolan Decker contributed with his fourth extra-base hit by tripling in the sixth inning, while Jon Tate ended up 2-4 on his batting performance.

The Blueboys are set to face Wentworth Institute of Technology next on Tuesday, March 4th in Davenport, Florida.
