Illinois College athlete Dylan Doss has secured a spot in the finals of the 200-meter dash at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships. The event is taking place at the Golisano Training Center in Rochester, New York.
Doss, a sophomore hailing from Sterling, Illinois, clinched victory in his heat with a time of 21.58 seconds. This performance positions him as the fifth seed for the final race, which is scheduled to commence at 4:15 p.m. CST on the following day.
In addition to his success in the 200 meters, Doss also participated in the long jump earlier in the day. He finished 19th with a recorded mark of 6.81 meters.
