Illinois College's Aleese Trimingham has been recognized as the Midwest Conference Women's Track Performer of the Week. The announcement was made by the league earlier today.
Trimingham achieved notable victories in the True Blue Invite held on Friday night, despite challenging weather conditions. The athlete from Auburn, Illinois, secured first place in both the 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles. Her performance in the 100-meter hurdles was recorded at 14.87 seconds, marking the fastest time in the conference this season. Additionally, her 400-meter hurdles time of 1:07.19 was the second fastest in the conference.
The recognition highlights Trimingham's significant achievement and contribution to Illinois College's athletics.
