In the opener, Illinois College secured a comeback victory with a 4-3 win. Nathan Walker played a key role, finishing with two hits including the winning RBI single. Starting pitcher Charlie Lardi threw six innings, allowing only two unearned runs and recording eight strikeouts. Andrew Wieneke, who entered in relief, allowed one run in three innings, securing his fifth victory of the season.
The second contest saw Lawrence University prevail 6-2, with Illinois College initially leading after a lively first inning.
