The Illinois College men's track and field team saw commendable performances at the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier held on Wednesday at the Austin E. Knowlton Outdoor Athletic Complex in Rock Island, Illinois.
Sophomore Adam Hernandez achieved a season-best performance in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.81 seconds. This timing stands as the fastest among Midwest Conference athletes this season and is the fourth-best in Illinois College history.
In addition to Hernandez's achievement, Melvin Hodge participated in the hammer throw event, achieving a distance of 48.31 meters.
Looking ahead, the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier will continue tomorrow, where Deon Rodgers from Illinois College is set to compete in the discus event.
