The Illinois College track and field teams showcased notable performances at the Augustana Midwest Twilight Qualifier held in Rock Island, Illinois. On Thursday, athletes from both the Lady Blues and Blueboys achieved season-best throws in discus at the Austin E. Knowlton Outdoor Athletic Complex.
Natalie Hasting of the Lady Blues threw 38.91 meters. Her performance stands as the third-best this season within the Midwest Conference and is ranked fifth in Illinois College history.
Deon Rodgers represented the Blueboys with a throw of 46.25 meters, marking his best of the season and ranking fifth among Midwest Conference competitors.
