State Representative Mike Coffey recently visited Arlington’s Catering & Historic Venue in downtown Springfield as part of his “Mike on Main Street” business tour. During the visit, Coffey met with Brian and Melissa Reilly, owners of Arlington’s and Cured Catering, to learn about their business history and recent expansion into the downtown area.
The Reillys launched Cured Catering in 2017 and have since grown their operations. Their main headquarters is a 10,000-square-foot facility in Dawson, which is managed by the family. The acquisition of Arlington’s has allowed them to further expand their catering services. According to the Reillys, purchasing Arlington’s was an ideal fit for their existing business.
Arlington’s Catering & Historic Venue serves as a location for various events such as office meetings, wedding receptions, and birthday parties.
Coffey explained that his business tours are intended to help him better understand local businesses and workers so he can address their needs at the state level. “Mike on Main Street” gives Rep. Coffey the opportunity to hear directly from businesses and workers so he can better serve their needs to improve the business climate in Illinois.
Coffey is a Republican who was elected to represent Illinois’ 95th House District in 2023, succeeding Tim Butler.
