The Illinois College Lady Blues volleyball team ended their regular season with a 3–0 loss to Lawrence University in Midwest Conference play on Saturday in Appleton, Wisconsin. The set scores were 18–25, 23–25, and 11–25.
Despite the defeat, the Lady Blues completed the regular season with a 10-20 overall record and a 5-3 mark in conference matches. This performance secured them the fourth seed for the upcoming Midwest Conference tournament.
Delani Klaas led Illinois College with seven kills and six digs. Haylie Orton contributed five kills and three blocks. Summer Brandis recorded 12 assists and four digs, while Kahli O'Neal added 10 assists and four digs. On defense, Mady Salisbury collected 10 digs and two service aces.
Illinois College was competitive in the second set, exchanging points with Lawrence before falling late in the frame.
Looking ahead, the Lady Blues will participate in post-season play at the Midwest Conference tournament held in Mount Vernon, Iowa. They are scheduled to face host Cornell College on Friday, November 14th at 7:00 p.m.
