Monmouth College secured a 104-85 victory over the Illinois College Lady Blues in women's swimming on Saturday at Coultas Natatorium in Jacksonville, Illinois. Despite the loss, the Lady Blues produced four individual champions during the meet.
Jadyn Grismer gave Illinois College its first win of the day by finishing first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.95 seconds. Laci O'Malley added another victory for the team by winning the 200-yard butterfly in 2:29.86.
Jena Sellers continued the success for Illinois College with a win in the 100-yard freestyle, posting a time of 59.35 seconds. Abby Stevens rounded out individual victories for the Lady Blues, taking first place in the 500-yard freestyle at 5:52.22.
The Lady Blues will now have a break before their next competition at the Beloit Mid-Season meet scheduled for November 21 and 22.
