Williams Township Board of Trustees met Jan. 9.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The regular meeting of Williams Township Board of Trustees was called to order by Supervisor Miller at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 9, 2018. The meeting was held at the Township office.

Those present were: Supervisor Lee Miller, Road Commissioner Rich Bond, and Clerk Marla Smith. Trustees: David May, Jan Halford. Office Manager Debra Booker.

Guest present – Dale Halford

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Trustee Jan Halford.

Trustee May moved to approve the minutes of the December 12th, 2017, board meeting. Second by Trustee Halford. Motion carried.

Trustee Halford moved to approve the monthly bills. Second by Trustee May. Motion carried.

Trustee May moved to approve payroll for the month of January. Second by Trustee Halford. Motion carried.

Supervisor Miller reported that Assessor Jason LeMar has been in contact with Sangamon County.

Road Commissioner Bond reported the township rented a brush cutter and have been cutting brush. They have also been spreading salt.

Motion was made by Supervisor Miller to adopt the Sexual Harassment Policy subject to Public Act 100-554. Second by Trustee Halford.

The meeting was adjourned following a motion by Trustee May and a second by Trustee Halford.
