City of Springfield issued the following announcement on June 15.
CONSTRUCTION
The following streets will be under construction beginning Monday, June 18 for asphalt paving
(patching), weather permitting.
• Beverly Drive
• Bob-O-Link Drive
• Bryant Drive
• Dawn Drive
• High Pointe Drive
• Meadowlark Lane
• Meadow Pointe Drive
• Oriole Court
• Timber Pointe Drive
• Wood Pointe Drive
• Wythe Road
• Windsor Drive
The following streets will be closed beginning Monday, June 18 for special projects.
• Washington Street (2nd – 4th) Closed by Union Pacific until Saturday, June 23
• Mountcastle Road (Monroe – Farragut Dr) closed for LRS Bldg connection improvements. Closed
until August 20, 2018.
The following streets will be under construction for concrete work, weather permitting. Work will include
removing and replacing portions of curb and gutter and updating accessibility ramps on sidewalks:
• 4th Street (Broad - Ash)
• Ash Street (MLK – Taylor)
• Black (Water to Albany)
• Bonneville Drive
• Cherry Road (at Bates)
• Cook Street (MacArthur – State)
• Douglas Avenue (S Grand – Williams)
• Feldkamp Avenue (Lawrence – Washington)
• Holmes Avenue (Cedar – S. Grand)
• Louise Lane
• Lucerne Drive
• Ocala Lane
• Outer Park Drive (HyVee-MacArthur)
• Luke’s Court
• Mary’s Court
