CIty of Springfield issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.

Interested citizens and business people will be able to talk with project team members to learn about the
project activities. Although there is no formal presentation, informational stations will be staffed by team
members who will share updates on the project’s construction segments including the Ash Street
underpass, the Carpenter Street archaeological site, land acquisition for Usable Segment IV, funding and
minority participation. In addition, the open house will have a station for written public comments and an
open microphone will be available from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for verbal public comments
