Ball Chatham Community Unit School District 5 issued the following announcement on Aug. 21.
Sign-up today for the 24th Annual GHS Homecoming Parade to be held Wednesday, September 12. This year’s homecoming theme is "Let's Glow Crazy" (Neon theme)!! There will be an award of $200 for best float and $100 for second best float. It is encouraged to follow the homecoming theme when preparing floats. Your entry number, along with more information, will be sent to you prior to the parade. The line-up will begin at GHS at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12th. The parade will begin promptly at 5:45 p.m.
The registration deadline for all entries is Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
