state senator candidate Steve McClure returns $500 contribution from PAC-67

The campaign committee of state senator candidate Steve McClure, Friends of Steve McClure, returned a $500 contribution from PAC-67 on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. PAC-67 has not made any other contributions to Steve McClure in the past 12 months.
