Sangamon County Finance Committee met Oct. 22.

Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

Members Present: Clyde Bunch, Annette Fulgenzi, Linda Fulgenzi, Lisa Hills, John O’Neill, George Preckwinkle, Rose Ruzic, Cathy Scaife, Todd Smith, Greg Stumpf

Members Absent: Craig Hall, Tom Madonia, David Mendenhall, Lori Williams

Others Present: Mike Cowles, Tim Eggleston, Andy Goleman, Brian McFadden, Gail O’Neill, Charlie Stratton, Terry Viar, Denise McCrady (Secretary)

Chair Preckwinkle called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

A motion to approve the minutes of the October 8 2019 Committee meetings was made by Smith and seconded by Bunch. Motion carried (10-0).

Terry Viar, Deputy Auditor, on behalf of Jeff Vose, Regional Superintendent of Schools, requested approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement between Sangamon County and Menard County regarding the Menard- Sangamon Educational Service Region for a three-year period beginning December 1,2 019. A motion to approve the request was made by Hills and seconded by Stumpf. Motion carried (10-0).

Gail O’Neill, Public Health, requested approval to hire three replacement R.N./Case Managers and a replacement Clerk Typist II. A motion to approve the requests was made by Hills and seconded by Scaife. Motion carried (10-0).

A motion to approve the purchase reports was made by O’Neill and seconded by Smith. Motion carried (10-0). There was no Old Business or Public Comment.

A motion to adjourn was made Bunch and seconded by A. Fulgenzi. Motion carried (10-0). Meeting adjourned.
