Athens Community Unit School District 213 issued the following announcement on March 9.
The Class 1A Boys Basketball Super Sectional will be at the Jacksonville High School Bowl (215 S. Church St.) on Tuesday, March 10 at 7:00 pm. Athens will play Madison with the winner advancing to State on Friday. Tickets are on sale today - March 9 - from 6:30 am to 3:08 pm in Mr. Isringhausen's office. Cost is $8 per ticket. If you write a check, make it payable to AHS. Tickets will also be available at the door tomorrow night.
