Cahokia Community Unit School District 187 Board met Dec. 14.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. Call to Order with the Pledge of Allegiance.

2. Roll Call.

3. Adopt Official Agenda giving the President discretion to take items out of order or in executive session as needed.

4. Approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on November 9, 2020 and Special Meeting held on November 16, 2020.

5. Consider approval of bills as presented in the amount of $3,891,235.73 be authorized; that salaries for the month of December 2020 be authorized; that quick pay for November 2020 in the amount of $316,648.26 be approved; and that January 2021 salaries and bills to be quick paid be authorized.

6. Requests signed by interested citizens who attend the Board of Education meeting who request to speak to the Board.

7. Consent Agenda.

7.A. Approve Intermittent Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave for Michael Elafros, teacher, effective Monday, October 26, 2020, through the end of the 2020-2021 school year. Mr. Elafros will be using his accumulated sick and personal leave days in conjunction with his FMLA leave. Termination of this leave may be adjusted.

7.B. Accept the written resignation of Tara O'Sadnick, literacy assistant, effective Friday, December 18, 2020.

7.C. Accept the written resignation of Elaine Doias, paraprofessional, effective Monday, November 23, 2020.

7.D. Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for Vicki Guthrie, paraprofessional, effective Monday, November 30, 2020, through Friday, February 12, 2021. Ms. Guthrie will be using her sick, personal, and vacation time. She will be docked for the remainder of this leave. Termination of this leave may be adjusted per doctor's instructions.

7.E. Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for Cherilyn Kizer, paraprofessional, effective Tuesday, December 1, 2020, through Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Ms. Kizer will be using her sick, personal, and vacation leave. She will be docked for the remainder of this leave. Termination of this leave may be adjusted per her doctor's instructions.

7.F. Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for Rochelle Pasley, bus monitor, effective Monday, December 7, 2020, through Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Ms. Pasley will be using her sick, personal, and vacation time. She will be docked for the remainder of this leave. Termination of this leave may be adjusted per doctor's instructions.

7.G. Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for Anthony Priest Sr., security supervisor, effective Monday, November 30, 2020, through Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Mr. Priest will be using his sick, personal, and vacation time. He will be docked for the remainder of this leave. Termination of this leave may be adjusted per doctor's instructions.

7.H. Approve Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for Elker Reed, bus monitor, effective Monday, November 30, 2020, through Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Ms. Reed will be using her sick, personal, and vacation time. She will be docked for the remainder of this leave. Termination of this leave may be adjusted per doctor's instructions.

7.I. Approve the Extended Family Medical Leave (EFMLA) for Ashley Shipp, health aide, effective Monday, October 26, 2020, through Thursday, December 31, 2020.

7.J. Accept the written resignation of Kimberley Story, site coordinator, effective Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

7.K. Accept the written resignation of Jennifer Tinker, paraprofessional, effective Monday, November 17, 2020.

7.L. Approve the unpaid Leave of Absence (LOA) for Bernadette Wiggins, truancy supervisor, effective Thursday, November 5, 2020, through Monday, November 30, 2020.

7.M. Accept the audit for the 2019-2020 school year.

7.N. Adopt Resolution #20-42 accepting payment of $200,000 from the Village of Sauget for School District capital improvements.

7.O. Adopt Resolution #20-46 abating taxes pursuant to the Property Tax Relief Grant.
