New Business 

Public Health, John Ridley 

1. Approve a salary adjustment for Colleen Kelley, Assistant Director of Environmental Health with an increase in salary from $82,482.59 to $90,730.85 effective 4/24/24. 

2. Approval to hire a replacement LEHP in Training at an annual salary of  $55,126.81 effective 4/24/24; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $55,126.81 on 3/29/24 and will leave the payroll system on 4/12/24.

3. Approval to hire a replacement RN/Case Manager-Infectious Disease at an  annual salary of up to $63,010 effective 4/23/24; the previous employee left the position at an annual salary of $46,644 and left the payroll on 5/26/23.

Zoning, Trustin Harrison 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Clerk Typist II at an annual salary of up to $45,111 effective 6/10/24; the previous employee will leave the position on 5/1/24 at an annual salary of $43,785.69 and will leave the payroll system on 5/10/24. 

Coroner, Jim Allmon 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Part Time Death Investigator at an annual salary of $10,000 effective 4/24/24; the previous employee left the position on 2/1/24 at an annual salary of $10,000 and left the payroll system on 2/17/24. 

2. Approve a salary adjustment for Zach Thomas, Chief Deputy Coroner with an increase in salary from $76,428.11 to $92,428.11 effective 5/5/24. 

3. Approve a salary adjustment for Mike Robinson, Lead Death Investigator with an increase in salary from $63,554.01 to $69,554.01 effective 5/5/24.

Regional Planning, Molly Berns 

1. Resolution to approve the application and forward to the County Board for acceptance of the SPR SFY25 West Loop/South Growth Area Study Updates Grant with an anticipated grant revenue of $240,000. Matching funds are required. Requesting State Grant Match Assistance ($40,000)

SMART, Kate Downing 

1. Approval to hire a Driver at an annual salary of $39,520 effective 4/29/24; this is a new position needed for expansion. 

2. Approval to hire a replacement Driver at an annual salary of $39,520 effective 4/29/24; the previous employee will be promoted on 4/29/24 and her annual salary was $41,100.80. 

3. Approval to promote & adjust salary for Erin Kaufmann effective 4/29/24. Her title will change from Driver to Scheduler/Dispatcher and salary will change from $41,100.80 to $43,680.

Community Resources, Dave MacDonna 

1. Approval to hire a replacement Fiscal Manager at an annual salary range of $49,222-58,000 effective 4/24/24; the previous employee left the position on 4/4/24 at an annual salary of $52,522.55 and left the payroll system on 4/12/24. Requesting waiver of the 30 day lag. Due to the nature of this position it is being presented to Finance first and then oversight. Approval is contingent on oversight approval from the Community Resources committee tonight.
