Employers encouraged to hire veterans on July 25

July 25th is Hire a Veteran Day. This day reminds employers to consider the brave men and women who have served our nation to fill their open positions. According to the Department of Labor, about 200,000 military members retire or leave the armed services every year. The benefits of hiring a veteran include the core values of military service, competitive skills, and pride.

Today encourages businesses to recruit and hire veterans that have unique skillsets to bring to the workforce.
