Illinois College swim teams show strong performance at Illinois Wesleyan

The Illinois College men's and women's swim teams competed at Illinois Wesleyan on Friday. Both teams showcased notable individual performances during the event.

On the women's team, Jenna Kenning secured second place in both the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:04.45 and the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:25.17. Tovah Brooks also achieved a second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly, clocking in at 2:28.16. Additionally, the women's 200-yard medley relay team finished second with a time of 2:03.90.

For the men's team, Cooper Meyer took first place in the 1-meter diving competition with a score of 165.60. James Hammond earned a second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly, completing it in 2:21.96.

Both teams are set to host Principia College for Senior Day on Saturday, January 28th at 11:00 AM.
