Illinois College's Esports team is set to host the Unified Gaming Fanfest on February 11 and 12 in Jacksonville, Illinois. The event will see participation from both high school and college teams competing across various games. Scheduled from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on both days, it invites fans and spectators to attend.
The highlight of the event will be live college competitions in League of Legends, featuring the Illinois College Esports team. They are scheduled to compete against Drury University on Saturday at 1:00 PM and Ohio Northern University on Sunday at 10:00 AM. Additional college competitions will take place in Sherman Gymnasium. Illinois College is one of three institutions hosting an in-person competition sanctioned by Riot Games, with the MEC being the only Esports conference conducting in-person contests.
A variety of popular games including Fortnite, Valorant, King of Fighters, Super Smash Bros, NBA2K, Madden, Call of Duty, and Rocket League will also be featured. Registration for these competitions is currently open.
