The Illinois College men's swimming team secured a victory in their home opener against Coe, maintaining an unbeaten streak with a 116-74 win. The event took place at the Coultas Natatorium in Jacksonville, Illinois.

The Blueboys have now achieved a 3-0 record this season. Cade Emerick contributed significantly to the team's success by winning two individual events: the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:26.77 and the 500-yard freestyle clocking in at 5:31.7.

Scottie Nicotra claimed victory in the 200 IM, finishing at 2:10.83, while John Masiliunas won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.54.

In relay events, Masiliunas and Nicotra teamed up with Eli Eberle and Nathen Trachta to secure wins in both the 200-yard medley relay (1:43.58) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:33.40).

Looking ahead, the Blueboys are set to compete again on November 2nd in Monmouth for a dual meet scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
