The game took place on Wednesday at Memorial Gym, marking the end of Illinois College's regular season with a 21-4 overall record and a 13-3 standing in the league.
The Blueboys' win, combined with Grinnell's loss to Beloit by 117-97 on the same day, ensures that Illinois College will host the annual conference tournament on February 23rd and 24th at Sherman Gymnasium. This marks the second year in a row that they will host this event.
In addition to Harris' impressive performance, Jake Mazrimas contributed significantly with 16 points and eight rebounds. Austin Robinson added support off the bench by securing six rebounds.
The first half of the game was closely contested, with Knox leading at halftime with a score of 32-30. Knox extended their lead to ten points early in the second half but could not hold it as Illinois College made a decisive comeback. The Blueboys outscored Knox 23-3 in the final minutes to secure their title victory.
