Jake Mazrimas played a crucial role for the Blueboys with 14 points and 12 rebounds. This performance moved him into second place on Illinois College's all-time scoring list with a career total of 1,521 points. He is also the program's leader in career three-point field goals with 217.
Josh Harris contributed 11 points, while Buzz Ritzel added another ten for Illinois College. Nestor Daboin made four blocked shots that bolstered the team's defense.
Knox's efforts were led by Sean O'Neil, who scored 12 points, and Cole Andrews, who grabbed ten rebounds.
Illinois College maintained control throughout the game, extending their lead to as much as seven points by halftime with a score of 31-27. In the second half, they increased their advantage to as much as thirteen points at one stage. Knox managed to narrow the gap to seven points late in the game but could not overcome Illinois College's lead.
