The Illinois College cheer and dance teams advanced from their preliminary rounds at the NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida. Both teams competed in the finals on Friday.
The cheer team participated in the Game Day Division II competition. They achieved a score of 80.47 in Thursday's preliminaries, which allowed them to advance to the final day on Friday afternoon. Performing outdoors, the team improved their score to 82.22. The combined scores resulted in an overall rating of 81.7792, placing them sixth in their division.
The dance team competed at the Dance Team Performance III level, securing seventh place overall. After scoring 79.92 in Thursday's preliminaries, they slightly increased their performance to finish with an overall rating of 79.96 by the end of the event.
