Caroline Peters led the Illinois College women's cross country team at the Midwest Conference Championship held on Saturday at Reid Municipal Golf Course in Appleton, Wisconsin. The team secured a ninth-place finish in the overall standings.

Peters was the top performer for Illinois College, completing the race in 68th place with a time of 26:46.52. Morgan Carrino followed closely behind, finishing 71st with a time of 27:00.89.

Other notable performances included Hannah Claghorn, who placed third for her team and 74th overall with a time of 27:18.04. Claire Peters finished in 80th place with a time of 28:12.44, while Kairy Mercado-Ramos came in 83rd with a time of 28:23.35. Patricia Rivera completed the team's lineup by finishing 101st in 32:51.48.

The Lady Blues are set to compete next at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship on November 16th in Rock Island, Illinois.
