Biesenthal leads Blueboys to seventh place at MWC Championship

Robby Biesenthal led the Illinois College men's cross country team at the Midwest Conference Championship, held at Reid Municipal Golf Course in Appleton, Wisconsin. Biesenthal secured a top 30 finish with a time of 27:03.46, placing him 29th overall.

The Blueboys finished seventh in the team standings. Devin Boggs followed Biesenthal, finishing 35th with a time of 27:14.75. Nick Hanng took the 40th spot, clocking in at 27:31.37.

Ryan Gerdes was fourth for Illinois College and placed 81st overall with a time of 28:45.51. Camden Pierce finished right behind him in 82nd place, recording a time of 29:53.41. Braydn Anderson completed his run in 89th place with a time of 30:10.01, while Jack Bacon was close behind in 91st place at 30:17.58. Gabe Roberts rounded out the team's performance by finishing in 96th place with a time of 31:12.72.

Looking ahead, the Blueboys are set to compete next at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship on November 16th in Rock Island, Illinois.
