Illinois College men's tennis loses dual matches to Earlham and Principia

The Illinois College men's tennis team faced a challenging day on Friday at the Hexberg Indoor Tennis Center, located on the Principia campus in Elsah, Illinois. The team played two dual matches and was defeated in both.

In their first match against Earlham, Illinois College lost 5-2. Although Tejas Zala and Andrus Dupree secured a win at No. 2 doubles, Earlham claimed the doubles point overall. In singles play, Glenn Conway won his match at No. 3, and Titus Ashford triumphed at No. 6 for Illinois College.

Later that day, Illinois College competed against Principia but fell short with a score of 6-1. Principia swept all doubles matches to gain an early lead. Momir Vickovic provided the sole singles victory for Illinois College at No. 6.

Looking ahead, the Illinois College men's tennis team will return to action on March 15th when they host matches against Illinois Valley Community College at 10:00 a.m., followed by Olivet Nazarene at 4:00 p.m., taking place at the Bellatti Tennis Complex.
