Rep. Nikki Budzinski, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Illinois' 13th district, has voiced her concerns and celebrations through a series of recent tweets. Budzinski, who took office in 2023 after replacing Rodney Davis, uses her platform to discuss significant political actions and personal milestones.

On March 20, 2025, Rep. Budzinski expressed opposition to a new executive order by President Trump via Twitter. "This afternoon, President Trump signed an executive order to dismantle the Department of Education. Rural communities, working families, and educators in my district and across the country will suffer because of this reckless action and I stand with them in opposing it."

The following day, on March 21, she marked World Down Syndrome Day with a personal note about her nephew Noah. "Happy World Down Syndrome Day! Today, we celebrate people like my nephew Noah — who bring so much value and joy to our families and communities. Let’s keep working together to build a more inclusive world!"

Later that same day, Budzinski highlighted legislative efforts aimed at supporting workers entering the building trades industry. She tweeted about her proposed Tools Tax Deduction Act: "The upfront costs of tools & equipment should never be a barrier for someone to start a career in the building trades. My Tools Tax Deduction Act would allow workers to write those expenses off their taxes, helping more folks get into good-paying union jobs!"
