The Illinois College clay target team has completed its fall regular season, finishing among the top teams in the USA Clay Target League. The squad secured second place in the team skeet category with a score of 475.5. In both trap and sporting clays, Illinois College placed third, recording totals of 2,495 in trap over five weeks and 410 in sporting clays.
Ann Feldhake led all female participants in trap for the fourth consecutive week with an average score of 24.3. Other team members also ranked highly: Aurora Baker was fourth (22.9), Morgan Tracey fifth (22.8), Hannah Hopper sixth (22.7), Korina Hecht ninth (21.6), and Reece Winebrinner entered the top ten at tenth (21.4). On the men's side, Adam Stuckemeyer achieved second place with a 24.1 average.
In skeet, Hopper tied for third overall and was second among females with an average of 23.3. Hecht ranked fourth (20.7), Feldhake fifth (20.2), Winebrinner sixth (19), and Tracey ninth (16.1) among female competitors.
For women's sporting clays, Hopper maintained her third-place league standing at 42.8, while Hecht was sixth (39.4), Feldhake seventh (35.2), and Winebrinner eighth (34.2). Among men, Andrew Magnus and Stuckemeyer shared seventh place with averages of 42.
The team is set to compete at the National Championships in Bunker Hill, Illinois this weekend from Friday through Sunday.
